Music plays a large part in the life of Steephill School. Children are encouraged to sing but also can have the        opportunity to take up a musical instrument as an extra curricular activity.

The pupils who learn instruments can perform publicly at our summer music concert or in morning assemblies.

We have a thriving school choir which takes part in local music festivals. Recently we participated in the Gravesham    Music Festival in which we did very well obtaining  1st places in the senior and junior choir, group and individual  choral speaking and much more!.
