In the nursery class, children begin to learn the first stages of reading, writing and number work and enjoy acquiring these skills as much as play, painting and musical activities which are all part of the nursery day.

There is a separate garden for the nursery children where they have outdoor toys and water play. There is a large sandpit and a playhouse which give hours of constructive enjoyment.
