| Parents, teachers and governors work in partnership for the benefit of the pupils. They are involved in activities which assist in the provision of the facilities and items for the education of the pupils at the school.
Fundraising
The PTA raises funds for many varied items. Over recent years the
association has provided the school with a piano, reading books, library books,
a PA system, staging, televisions and numerous smaller items. It has also
supplied new computers in partnership with the school and contributed towards
the cost of the new minibuses.
These are a few examples of how this active PTA has contributed. In order to do this many fund-raising events have been held in the past, including
gift fairs, alternative therapies evening, race and quiz nights, annual dance, discos for the children, firework night and a summer family barbecue
and campout. The July and Christmas fairs are particularly popular. These events also provide the opportunity for parents to get to know one another in an informal way.

It is the intention that the parents, teachers, and governors of Steephill School work in partnership for the benefit of the pupils by providing:
| • | Extended relationships between all parents, staff, governors and other associated with the school |
| • | Activities which support the school in the education of the pupils |
| • | Assistance in the provision of facilities or items for education at the school |
Christmas Raffle - Winners
Many thanks to all those who organised, donated, bought and
sold tickets. Over £6,500 was raised.
