STEM

Science

We inspire our pupils to become curious, confident and capable learners who understand and appreciate the role of science in everyday life and the wider world. We aim to foster curiosity and wonder, build scientific knowledge and understanding, develop scientific skills and connect science to real life in order to prepare our pupils for future learning.

Our STEM club and regular entries into the ISA STEM competitions enhance our offer and allow our pupils to see science in the real world. Pupils enjoy visits from external speakers and a range of engaging experiments and experiences, including a forensic science workshop during British science week.

We are computer experts!

We empower all pupils to become confident, responsible and creative users of technology. We aim to equip them with the digital knowledge and computational thinking skills they need to understand and thrive in a rapidly evolving digital world.

Equipped with our very own computer suite and individual tablets in the Upper school, pupils use devices as a learning tool to advance their computing skills and deepen their knowledge and research skills within the wider curriculum.
