We are the Friends of Steephill School (FOSS), a dedicated team of volunteer parents and staff who come together to organise events, raise funds and strengthen the wonderful sense of community that makes Steephill so special.

Our aim is simple: to enhance the school experience for every child by funding exciting projects and resources, while also celebrating the diversity and spirit of our school community.

We’re always delighted to welcome new members - whether you can share ideas, lend a hand at events, or simply want to get involved. If you’d like to join us, please get in touch at foss@steephill.co.uk everyone is warmly welcome.

All funds raised go directly to benefit the children. Most recently, FOSS proudly contributed £10,000 towards brand-new play equipment in the orchard - a fantastic addition enjoyed by all pupils. A full breakdown of our fundraising and spending is shared at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), held each September or October.

Throughout the year, we host a variety of much-loved events, including Christmas parties, Mother’s and Father’s Day Fayres, an Easter Egg Hunt, the Summer Fête, and the Camp Out. We also celebrate important cultural and community events such as Black History Month, Diwali, Christmas, Easter, and Eid.

Together, we make Steephill even more vibrant — and we’d love you to be part of it!
