Forest School is a child-centered inspirational learning experience, that provides opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.

At Steephill children in Preschool, Reception and Class 1 spend half a day each week at our onsite Forest School. Our Forest School is a safe, non-judgmental, nurturing environment where children learn about managing risks at their own pace. Weekly sessions held throughout the four seasons inspire a deep and meaningful connection to the world and deepen the children's understanding of how they fit within it. Our approach to risk management means that our children are constantly expanding their abilities by solving real-world issues, building self-belief and resilience.
