I picked this poem because the fact that Rupert Brooke the author thought and almost knew he was going to die in this war. He made this touching poem so all his loved ones would remember him in ways some people could only dream of. Rupert Brooke also described him as dust in the field and that the dust shall be richer. The part of the poem that is really touching is when he describes he will have to say goodbye to all his loved ones.
