Gymnastics

Upper I have been working really hard this term in gymnastics. They have been focusing on body shapes and different ways of travelling.

This week they all really impressed me with their partner balances. They showed good team work and were really encouraging and supporting each other. It was a lovely lesson.

S N O W  D A Y S

I loved receiving all the pictures and videos of Upper I playing in the snow this week.

Everyone has also worked so hard on the homework projects that I set. I have shared some pictures so that you can all see what everyone has been up too.

This week is the poetry competition!

I am looking forward to hearing all of your entries.

Week 1 (wc 19.2.18)

Welcome back. It sounds like you all had a lovely half term.

This week in maths we are looking at sharing problems to introduce division. I will upload some games for the children to practise at home.

In English we are starting a new topic of traditional tales. At home, please spend some time reading different tales so the children can become more familiar with the characters and the problems and solutions within them.

We are starting a new topic exploring our local area. We will be asking children about the different buildings and houses we have in our local area so as you are walking around, please talk to your children about what you see.
